The Moldovan citizens living abroad have the opportunity to participate in the Diaspora Invest events in the coming months. During the event, the Moldovans from the diaspora will be able to get comprehensive information about how the state and partners support the starting and development of businesses, discover areas with increased growth potential and learn stories of entrepreneurs who managed to develop businesses at home, IPN reports.
President Maia Sandu said that the Diaspora Invest events, organized by the Investment Agency in partnership with the national authorities, are a good opportunity for the Moldovans from the diaspora to learn about opportunities at home, to be inspired by the stories of entrepreneurs who managed to grow successful businesses and discover areas with increased development potential.
The head of state noted that many of the compatriots who went abroad want to return to the country and open a business at home. “At meetings with the diaspora, the young people often ask me about the investment opportunities at home and about the tools through which the state supports the business community. I know that many of them managed to develop successful business in the host countries. They gained valuable experience and we want to see them back home as soon as possible,” said President Sandu.
In the near future, within the Diaspora Invest, events will be staged in Paris, Padova, Berlin, Dublin and Madrid. Those interested in participating in these events are urged to fill in the forms available on the President’s website. The events in Dublin and Madrid will be held in July and September respectively. The dates and registration will be announced later.
