Moldova stocks contain enough heating fuel for another 8 to 10 days, Senior Deputy Prime Minister Igor Dodon told a Cabinet's meeting on Thursday, adding that additional amounts would be purchased in the immediate future, but without naming any figures, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Dodon, Moldova is being provided with Russian gas through two pipelines at Alexeevka and Grebenki-Orlovka. “Moldova needs roughly 8 million cubic meters of gas per 24 hours, and anther 6 to 7 million cubic meters for the Transnistrian region”, Dodon informed. According to him, the Cuchurgan power plant, which now burns fuel oil, has reserves for a month.
