“Moldsilva” Agency director dismissed officially

The director general of “Moldsilva” Agency Ion Lupu was discharged from post by a Government Decision. Ion Lupu accepted to resign on January 18, at the request of the Liberal Party, which named him to post. Ion Lupu, together with a number of state officials, took part in the December 23 hunting in the Domneasca Forest, which resulted in the death of a man. He is accused of allowing illegally hunting in a scientific reserve. Lupu’s resignation follows the resignation of Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubko, who also took part in the hunting.
