More heavy snowfall expected

The State Hydrometeorology Service issued a yellow code advisory for heavy snow for the period between December 19 and 21, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Service, snow will fall all over the country, in parts heavily. The wind will intensify to 15-20 m/s. There will be snowdrifts and ice on the roads.
The highest temperatures will vary between -5 and -10 degrees Celsius, while the lowest ones between -8 and -15 degrees Celsius.
Ice bridges will continue to form on ponds, lakes and rivers, including the Nistru and Prut. The ice will be thin and walking on it will be dangerous.
