More shells found in Valea Morilor Park

Eleven more Soviet 152 mm caliber shells were discovered at the bottom of the lake in Valea Morilor Park during mud removal works on May 10. Dorina Cruc, spokesman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that 98 shells have been taken out of the lake so far. They were found in one place. So, there was probably a weapons store. The shells were destroyed at the Bulboaca range. The same day, a bomb was discovered in Maximovca village of Anenii-Noi district during farming works. In Iarova, Soroca, there was found an F-1 grenade. An accident happened in Bahmut, Calarasi. The 58-year-old man was covered with a mass of earth at his place. He was saved by the Firefighters and Rescuers Squad of Calarasi and is now in hospital Two days earlier, a man aged 31 died after he was covered with sand. The tragedy happened in Hartopul-Mic, Criuleni. The man was digging a well and was buried alive.
