The National Health Insurance Company will buy an additional number of operations within two special programs. Almost four million lei will be allocated for another 61 prosthetic operations of the locomotor system, while more than seven million lei will be directed for another 70 interventions for acute ischemic stroke, including the expensive consumables paid in addition to the payment per treated case.
The decision was taken following an analysis by the National Health Insurance Company regarding the current stage of execution of cases contracted under these programs and the providers’ capacities to cover an additional volume of services.
For additional contracting, CNAM is to conclude additional agreements.
