Mother of six-year-old child drowns

A woman from Climauti, Donduseni, who was the mother of a child aged six, drowned in a pond situated near the village. Viorica Guliciac, secretary of the Climauti Local Council, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 28-year-old woman was divorced. “She led a disorderly life. She liked drinking alcohol and was smoking. The people in autumn work and gather the harvest, while she was swimming,” said Viorica Guliciac. The young woman lived with her mother and the child will remain in the care of his grandmother. According to press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Dorina Sochirca, the body of the woman was recovered in about two hours. The circumstances of the tragedy are yet to be established.
