The MPs will be deprived of the concessions from which they benefited on the payment of public unities. On May 12, Parliament passed a bill to amend the Law on the Status of MP in the first reading, IPN reports.
The bill is a legislative initiative of Socialist MP Vasile Bolea. According to him, the goal of the document is to adjust the outdated legal provisions to the current realities. Given that the Republic of Moldova has a tight budget, it is not equitable in relation to the citizens of this state for the MPs to benefit from concessions on the payment of public utilities.
To take effect, the bill should be passed in the second reading.
