The lawmakers have differing opinions about the activity of the Cabinet during the first 100 days of its investiture. Some said Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici fulfills his duties and communication earlier wasn’t better, while others criticized his work, saying it is inefficient and the Premier only fulfills oligarchs’ orders, IPN reports.

Democratic MP Valentina Stratan said the communication with the current Government is difficult, but not impossible. In parts, it is good or is missing. The communication with the former Premiers wasn’t better. The only difference is that earlier the Premiers were involved more in the meetings of the coalition. “Maybe it’s good that he does not involve so much in the activity of the party he represents. The Premier should focus less on politics, even if his post is a political one, and should deal with the important social problems,” she stated, noting she considers the Premier fulfills his duties.

The head of the Liberal faction Mihai Ghimpu said he does not think that Moldova has an efficient Government and Parliament after the November 2014 parliamentary elections. The current executive may do good things, but these are not seen. “It is ‘good’ when the people smile and are joyful. Parliament mainly ratifies agreements and this means that the Government does not work well. This is a feature of the min-majority government. We will yet discuss this issue after the local elections,” he stated.

The leader of the Socialists Igor Dodon said most of the people felt the inefficiency of the current Government. The Premier is only a puppet in the hands of the oligarchs and fulfills their orders. Most probably Chiril Gaburici will serve several weeks more until he is ‘sacrificed’. The activity of the Gaburici Government is similar to the Premier’s grades at school and the other institutions that he allegedly graduated.

The Gaburici Government was invested on February 17 by the votes of 60 MPs of the Liberal-Democratic, Democratic and Communist factions.
