Natalia Barbu will soon launch an album with folk music, the first of this kind in her career, and an album with her most famous pop songs. “I’m proud I fulfilled one more dream,” Natalia Barbu told a news conference on Monday, Info-Prim Neo reports. The folk music album titled “Golden Collection of Natalia Barbu” was made in concert with the folk music orchestra “Lautarii”, conducted by Nicolae Botgros, on the initiative of conductor Corneliu Botgros. The album contains 13 songs from different areas of Romania. “The folk music makes me feel well. When I tried a national costume on I understood that this music has lived long in my soul,” the singer said. The video material for the folk music album was filmed in picturesque places in Moldova. “Natalia became known abroad. I knew she sings folk songs well, but while working on this album I realized she sings folk music as well as pop music,” Corneliu Botgros said. “As she and “Lautarii” are professionals, we managed to make the album in only three months.” The second album titled “Fight”, as the song that Natalia Barbu sang at Eurovision, includes her best 15 songs composed by Valentin Boghean, Alexandru Brasoveanu, Ioana Sulac, Valentin Danga, Andrei Sava and others. “I like these songs very much,” said Natalia. “They helped me become a singer and brought me the public’s love and admiration and many prizes at different contests. Now I feel accomplished and can start a new stage in my life.” “With these two albums, Natalia ended an important period in her career and is ready for new heights. Soon she will impress us with new types of music,” Corneliu Botgros said. In two days, Natalia will leave for a one-month tour in the United States together with the Romanian band Accent, Andreea Banica and other singers. They will perform on the largest stages in the U.S. A new song of Natalia Barbu titled “Without Her” will be soon broadcast on radio stations.
