National futsal team score first victory

Moldova’s national futsal squad on January 8 won the first friendly played abroad against Cyprus’ team, 3-2. The goals for Moldova were scored by Adrian Lascu, Andrei Vicolas, and Sergiu Tacot, Info-Prim Neo reports. The two teams will meet for a new friendly on January 10. The players coached by Vladimir Vusatyi will play two more friendly matches, at home, against Belarus, on January 15 and 16. The games form part of the preparatory program preceding the first qualifying round of the 2014 European Championship. During January 22-27, Moldova will compete in the same preliminary group together with Malta and Georgia.
