The National Institute of Justice has launched its website /www.inj.md/ and 20 books for preparing future prosecutors and judges on October 19, on the Jurist's Day, Info-Prim Neo reports. The website was created and the books issued as part of the Strengthening the Institutional Capacity of the National Institute of Justice Project, which is supported financially by UNDP Moldova. The Institute's executive director Eugenia Fistican said the website provides information for those who want to be admitted to the Institute. “Through the provided information, we will make the work of the National Institute of Justice and the initial and continuous formation of the judges and prosecutors who protect human rights public,” Fistican said. According to Eugenia Fistican, the textbooks incorporate 42 disciplines that are not taught at the university. Claude Cahn, Human Rights Adviser to the UN in Moldova, said the prosecutors and judges are the major players in the area of human rights, who ensure an equilibrium between the national and international legislation. The books were written by judges, prosecutors and academicians.
