In deep sadness caused by the death of Queen Ana of Romania, the President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti decreed August 13, 2016 a national mourning day, IPN reports.
On this day, the national flag will be flown at half-mast all over the country and at Moldova’s embassies and consular offices. At 10am, a moment’s silence will be observed in memory of Queen Ana.
The public authorities, enterprises and organizations are asked not to stage recreational activities, while the mass media institutions are recommended to take into account the specific features of the day of August 13 when editing publications and producing programs.
Queen Ana of Romania will be buried on August 13, 2016.
