After the Supervisory Board on April 23 didn’t manage to choose the president of the National Public Broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova, today it failed to vote in the director of Radio Moldova station. A new contest is to be announced for both of the posts.
The Supervisory Board’s head Ludmila Vasilache has told IPN that no candidate polled the necessary number of votes.
The following persons applied for the post of director of Radio Moldova: Stefan Secareanu, Nicu Scorpan, Eduard Maceac, and Veaceslav Gheorghishenko. In the second round of voting, Stefan Secareanu and Eduard Maceac won by two votes, while Nicu Scorpan – three votes of the minimum of five needed.
