New Deputy Minister of Education

The Government has appointed Igor Grosu to the position of Deputy Minister of Education. Igor Grosu is a doctor in history, who has taken part in many projects, and who, according to Maia Sandu, has good strategic planning skills, and has brought his contribution to the elaboration and implementation of the Poverty Reduction Plan, reports Info-Prim Neo. During last week’s meeting, the Government had approved new Minister Maia Sandu’s proposal for adding eight new staff members to the Ministry of Education, including one extra position of Deputy Minister. Also on Wednesday, the Government has reconfirmed Iurie Ursu as deputy director of the National Electronic Communications and Information Technologies Regulation Agency.
