The Cabinet appointed Gennady Țepordei as director general of the Public Property Agency instead of Mihai Rusu, who was dismissed based on the resignation he tendered, IPN reports.
Gennady Țepordei is a lawyer by profession. He is a specialist in civil, penal and labor law. Prime Minister Ion Chicu wished him success in work and voiced hope that his experience will be useful in the management and denationalization of state property.
In the same meeting, the Cabinet accepted the resignation from the post of chief of the General Police Inspectorate handed over by Alexandru Pînzari. Pînzari was restored to his post based on a court decision and is to collect the salary for “forced absence” from the job. He will also recuperate the paid court costs.
