New director of IS “Registru” designated

Sergiu Railean was named director of the state-run company “Registru”. Until recently, he worked as financial director of the tobacco company Tutun-CTC. Sergiu Railean was presented Tuesday to the staff by Minister of Information and Communication Technology Pavel Filip, who was earlier director general of Tutun-CTC. The ICT Ministry’s spokeswoman Carmena Lupei has told Info-Prim Neo that Sergiu Railean was selected for the post of director of IS “Registru” in a public contest that involved ten candidates. Sergiu Railean replaced Vladimir Molojen, who resigned on March 9 this year.
