Veronica Bradăuțanu is the new presidential adviser on judicial matters. A decree to this effect was signed by Maia Sandu, reports IPN.
Bradăuțanu’s past job was advisor to the Minister of Justice, while also serving as chairperson of the Disciplinary Board of Bailiffs and member of the Certification and Disciplinary Board of Authorized Administrators.
From 2005 to 2010, she worked as a lawyer at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, London office, where she returned to in 2017-2021 as a senior lawyer.
During 2010-2017 she worked as an expert in commercial and civil law reforms and provided expertise for the European Union, the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Veronica Bradăuțanu has a bachelor’s degree in law from the State University of Moldova and a master’s degree in law from the University of Connecticut, USA, while also being a qualified lawyer in the state of New York.
