New literary contest to take place in Soroca

31 pupils from Moldova, and from the Iasi county (Romania) compete to get the trophy of the 18th edition of the literary contest “At the source of wisdom.” The final, called “Ion Druta – a servant of the Romanian shepherd's soul,“ is taking place in Soroca from 12 to 14 July . The vice director of the Ion Creanga Library from Chisinau, Eugenia Bejan has told Info-Prim Neo the final stage of the contest will be joined by 11 pupils from Moldova, 10 pupils from Iasi country and and 109 from Vaslui country. They are the winners of republican stage of the contest “At the source of wisdom.” The 31 pupils will answer a row of questions concerning the life and works of Ion Druta. In the second stage, the competitors will present their homework – an essay on the topic: “Me with a memorable character from Druta's work.” The third stage will consist of a row of questions regarding the literary works recommended for reading. The first prize consists of 400 lei, 2nd -- 350 lei, 3rd -- 300 lei. The participants will also receive books.
