The composition of Moldova’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has been changed. Changes and supplements to the decision on the nominal composition of the legislative body’s delegations to international and bilateral parliamentary organizations were adopted by a majority of votes of MP on June 9, IPN reports.
Andrei Neguta, who vacated his seat of MP after being named ambassador to Russia, Igor Dodon, who was elected President of the Republic of Moldova, and Liliana Palihovich, who left the post of MP and withdrew from politics, were removed from Moldova’s Delegation to the PACE.
These were replaced by new MPs, namely Socialists Vlad Batrancea and Zinaida Grechenyi and Lib-Dem Tudor Deliu. Moldova’s Delegation to the PACE has ten members who represent all the parliamentary groups.
