New members of Supreme Security Council named

Acting President Marian Lupu Tuesday issued a decree on the appointment of new members on the Supreme Security Council, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the legislature.
The Council consists of 15 members, by five more than during the presidency of Mihai Ghimpu.
The Supreme Security Council Council is headed by Marian Lupu, who is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. Iurie Richinschi will serve as presidential adviser on security and defense.
Among the new members of the Council are Prime Minister Vlad Filat, chairman of the parliamentary commission on national security and defense Alexandru Stoianoglo, lawmaker Mihai Ghimpu, Minister of Defense Vitalie Marinuta, Minister of the Interior Alexei Roibu, Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubco, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Iurie Leanca.
The new composition does not include Serafim Urecheanu and former Minister of the Interior Victor Catan.
