The newly appointed ministers told the press that they will start work by getting acquainted with the staff and assessing their competences, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“We will assess the situation in healthcare, adjust the legislation to the European standards and the requirements of the World Health Organization and will start modernizing the hospital sector,” said the new Minister of Health Andrei Usatyi.
The new Minister of Information and Communication Technology Pavel Filip told the reporters that the swift access to information is very important for the society’s development and that he will be making a determined effort in this respect.
For his part, the new Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov said he will stick to the principle of continuity. He said he will analyze the steps taken by his predecessor and will then set out the priorities.
On January 14, the Parliament gave a vote of confidence to the Filat II Government. The new members of the Cabinet also include Alexei Roibu, who will serves as Minister of the Interior, Mihai Shleahtitski - Minister of Education, Vasile Bumacov - Minister of Agriculture, and Mihai Moldovanu – Deputy Prime Minister for Social Matters.
