The Constitutional Court validated the seats of MP of the representatives of three parties – the Liberal Party (PL), the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) and the Democratic Party (PDM), IPN reports.
On July 31, Parliament announced that two Liberal Democratic MPs (Valeriu Strelet and Anatolie Dimitriu), two Democratic MPs (Nicolae Molozea şi Vladimir Plahotniuc) and five Liberal MPs (Gheorghe Brega, Anatolie Salaru, Iurie Chirinciuc, Valeriu Munteanu, and Corina Fusu) vacated their seats.
The Central Election Commission proposed that the Constitutional Court should validate the seats of MP of the substitute candidates Nae-Simion Plesca and Octavian Grama, of the PLDM, Elena Bacalu and Corneliu Dudnic, of the PDM, and Roman Botan, Stefan Vlas, Petru Cosoi, Alina Zotea and Artur Gutium, of the PL.
