The National Philharmonic “Sergey Lunkevich”, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Moldova and the Ministry of Culture, invites to the New Year’s Concert that will be given on December 30, at 6pm. Entrance is free of charge, IPN reports.
The program includes works by composers Tchaikovsky, Anderson, Simpson, Piazzola, and Gershwin. An exceptional performance will be given by famous pianist of American origin Thomas Pandolfi, who is known and acclaimed all over the world.
The concert will also feature Victor Zlotescu (horn) and the flute players’ ensemble “Miraculous flutes” that will be accompanied by the Tiraspol Symphonic Orchestra directed by conductor Grigory Moseiko. The project’s author, musicologist and Master of Arts Irina Martyniuk will act as a host.
