Nicolae Chicus confirmed as rector of Teacher Training University

The Government confirmed Nicolae Chicus as rector of the Chisinau-based Teacher Training University “Ion Creanga” on September 2. Chicus was elected as rector by the university's senate, Info-Prim Neo reports. Minister of Education Leonid Bujor said Nicolae Chicus worked as dean at this institution and has the necessary experience and qualification. By another Government Decision, Andrei Iacovlev was named as deputy head of the State Agency for Land Relations and Cadaster.
