No student eliminated from examination hall during last Baccalaureate exam

The last Baccalaureate exam was sat without incidents. No candidate was caught cheating in the mother tongue exam taken by Ukrainian, Gagauz and Bulgarian students on June 21, IPN reports.

Director of the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment Anatol Topala told a press briefing that the exam was sat at 11 Baccalaureate centers and involved about 400 candidates. Of these, about 170 sat the exam in the Bulgarian language and literature, 160 – in the Gagauz language and literature, while approximately 70 – in the Ukrainian language and literature.

Thirty candidates were eliminated from examination halls during the previous Baccalaureate exams.

The results of all the Baccalaureate exams will be posted at the Baccalaureate centers on June 27. The students will have 48 hours to challenge the grades. On June 27 and 28, the candidates will be able to see their graded test papers at www.bac.edu.md by using a password from the education institution where they studied. The final results, after the examination of challenges, will be made public on July 6.

The additional Baccalaureate session will take place on July 18-25.
