The Moldovan Cabinet will negotiate an agreement on no-visa travels with Israel. The draft was endorsed Wednesday by the Chisinau Government. If the accord gets signed, the Moldovan citizens will be able to travel to Israel with traditional passports and with other documents entitling them to do so. Foreign Minister Andrei Stratan says Moldova has had good relations for years with Israel in all areas, especially in economy and the humanitarian field. Many Moldovan work in Israel, and it's important for them to abolish the visas. On the other hand the Israelis, who earlier lived in Moldova, will come to see their relatives and friends, he said. Stratan says Israel signed a similar accord with Russia in March 2008, and negotiates to so with Ukraine.
