Number of beneficiaries of cold-season assistance payments could rise

Social Protection Minister Valentina Buliga says more people will become eligible for the cold-season assistance payments after the threshold of income on which this entitlement depends is increased by 128 lei to 1,024 lei, Info-Prim Neo reports. The size of the payout will be 200 lei per month. The procedure of applying for this aid hasn't changed. Only holders of entrepreneurial patents who don't earn more than the specified income must additionally produce a certificate of entrepreneurial activity.
