MP of the Bloc ACUM Oazu Nantoi said that even if the Democratic Party withdrew from power, the system it built in time needs to be destroyed and the process implies a lot of work. “For us, it is important to maintain those spirits with which we entered the struggle,” the MP was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Key issue” on NTV Moldova channel.

However, nonstandard solutions are needed to solve the existing problems. “We hope the experience of the Socialist MPs, the experience of those from ACUM and the experience of the people who abandoned their careers abroad and returned home to work in the current Government will help to forge a return to constitutionality,” stated Oazu Nantoi.

Socialist MP Grigore Novac warned that the economy was brought to its knees, especially the small and medium-sized businesses. The mechanisms that stimulated business entities should be restored. “We must start the machinery of the economy. If this is not done, things will not stand long. Without economic acceleration, the already launched social projects cannot be maintained,” he stated.

Journalist Valery Demidetskii said the current situation is difficult. The Democratic Party will not give up struggling for power. The party has financial and media resources and can afford this. Furthermore, the dismantling of the former regime by the Socialists and ACUM could be followed by the foreign partners. “The partners could say that it won’t do like that in a particular situation. If someone committed a wrongdoing, this should be punished according to the law… The old machinery was built during many years and it will be hard to destroy it,” noted the journalist.
