One killed, five injured in motorcycle accidents

A 25-year-old man riding a motorcycle tried to illegally outrun a vehicle and collided with a VAZ-2105 car in Cimislia district. He was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition and died shortly afterward. The driver of the car sustained injuries, but is now out of danger, Info-Prim Neo reports. Traffic Police Division spokeswoman Dana Andronic said another accident involving a motorcycle happened on a road in Cahul district. The vehicle driven by a man aged 20 went out of control, skidded and collided head-on with a motor bicycle. Both of the drivers and a passenger suffered injuries. An Opel car crashed with a Kawasaky motorcycle at the intersection of Milescu Spataru and Ginta Latina streets in Chisinau. The 37-year-old motorcyclist was admitted to the Emergency Hospital with fractures. The seven road accidents that occurred in Moldova on June 30 resulted in one death and nine persons injured.
