One killed in accident caused by inebriated driver

Two drunk drivers caused serious traffic accidents, one of which claimed one life. A VAZ-2107 driven by an inebriated 50-year-old man from Racovat village skidded on the icy road and went straight into a tree. A passenger aged 37 died on the spot. A speeding Opel Vectra crashed into a tree in Donduseni town. The 23-year-old driver who was under the influence of alcohol suffered an open cranial-cerebral trauma and an open fracture of the knee. The accidents that happened on the national roads yesterday and last night resulted in one death and five persons injured.
