The Theater Festival “One Man Show” returns after a period of almost eight years. The fourth festival themed “Theater Bridge” is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Flower Bridge over the Prut River. Actors from Moldova and Romania will put on the best one-man performances in the Romanian area in Chisinau, said director of the “One Actor” Theater Mihai Fusu, who organizes the festival. “The Festival “One Man Show” was founded in 1999 and had three editions. Since 2003, the festival hasn’t taken place because my father Dumitru Fusu, who set it up and animated it, became sick and could not manage it. In eighth years, I decided to restore it,” Mihai Fusu stated for Info-Prim Neo. According to Mihai Fusu, the festival is aimed at creating a common cultural area between the Moldovan and Romanian actors so that the people enjoy Romanian theater performances as often as possible. Sandu Grecu, chairman of the Theater Union of Moldova, said that this kind of theater that is probably the most difficult is an important element because it prepares the spectator for perceiving a different world. On the first festival day on October 12, Romanian actress Alina Berzun performed the play “9 degrees from Paris”, which is about a woman who decided to leave her husband because she loved somebody else. The play is a combination of theater and film. It is a dialog of the character on the stage and the character on the screen. Today, October 13, the festival continues with three performances. Actor Mihai Fusu presents the play “RASSM” at the Theater “Licurici” starting at 18.00, Cristina Casian stages “Amalia Takes a Deep Breath” at the Academy of Music, Theater and Plastic Arts at 20.00, while Giorgiana Elena Popan performs “Efficiency” at Kira’s Club at 22.00. On October 14, there will be put on the performances “Nekrotitanium” by Alexandru Plesca (Foosbook, 18.00) and “Take everything aside and let me see!” by Andrei Sochirca (Kira’s Club, 22.00). On October 15, Iuri Andriushchenko will present the play “Alexandr Vertinski” at the Theater Union of Moldova starting at 18.00, while Marcel Iures will perform “Absolute” at the National Opera House at 20.00.
