One million lei to commemorate Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici

The Government will allot 1.16 million lei from its reserve fund to the Ministry of Culture for the organization of cultural and artistic events dedicated to the Year of Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovic, Info-Prim Neo reports. The money will be used for the implementation of the national program of cultural-artistic activities dedicated to the Year Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici. This program includes the filming of a documentary in the memory of the artists, launching a CD and publishing an album with photos and memories of those who knew the gifted couple. Besides, the traditional international contest-festival “Two twin hearts” will be organized as well. The Year Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici began in February 2012 with a series of shows for the Moldovan communities in France and USA, organized with the support of the Department for Romanians Abroad, of the Romanian embassies in Paris and Washington and of Moldova’s permanent mission to the United Nations in New York.
