The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) has announced a contest to fill a vacancy in the Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. The post was vacated by Mariana Slapac, whose term in office expired last December. The applications can be submitted to the BCC within 15 days of the publication of the decision in the Official Gazette. Three will be selected two candidates who are to be examined by Parliament. The legislative body will choose one of them for the vacant post, at the suggestion of the parliamentary commission on culture, sports and mass media. Eugeniu Rybka, Viorica Cucereanu, Raisa Lozinschi, Viorica Mesina-Prodan, Aurelia Peru-Balan and Vitalie Tapes were named to the Board in December 2009. Tudor Tataru was designated in April 2008.
