The online press group “Realitatea” (“Reality”) started work in Moldova on March 10. “Realitatea” is a media platform of public utility that incorporates a number of content platforms, including www.realitatea.md, www.golos.md, www.bani.md, www.stireata.md, www.topmedia.md, and www.kankan.md.
Director Dumitru Tira has told IPN that these platforms are intended for the Moldovans from the country and abroad, while the way they were conceived represents homage rendered to the Moldovan journalism and a call for correct and professional journalism made by a group of young people with experience in online journalism, who want to show the reality as it is. The team of the online group “Realitatea” consists of young and talented journalists who respect the deontological principles and the values of modern journalism.
The group’s objective is to create the “World of Reality” and to involve all the representatives of society into this world by transforming them into active participants, consumers and designers of Moldova’s modernization. The main platform of the group is the news website www.r ealitatea.md that presents round-the-clock the most important news stories from different areas of interest for society.
www.golos.md is the platform of news in Russian, which is designed to complement the low offer of information in the Russian language on the media market of Moldova. The portal of economic and business news www.bani.md is an acute necessity in Moldova given the insufficiency of specialized publications in this field. www.kankan.md is the first online tabloid in Moldova, which aims to provide interesting facts about the lives of stars, politicians and other public figures from Moldova and abroad. For the first time, the Moldovans will also have a platform where they will be able to create news themselves. The platform www.stireata.md was created in order to allow the Moldovans, wherever they are, to express their opinions and discontent.
www.topmedia.md is an aggregator of news items, including about the media. Through this websites, the users will be able to follow the print media in Romanian and Russian from all over the country.
