The Parliament voted, in the first reading, the bill of the Liberal Party, according to which no Parliamentary groups are to be formed later than 10 days from the establishment of the Parliament. Although the author of the bill proposed for voting the bill in the second reading, Liberal-Democratic Party group leader Valeriu Strelet said that time is needed to analyse and discuss the bill, reports Info-Prim Neo. The Parliament regulation stipulates that Parliamentary groups are, usually, formed within 10 days from the legal establishment of the Parliament. The PL group proposes to drop the word “usually” from the phrasing mentioned above. PL president Mihai Ghimpu told the journalists that the PLDM wants to block the voting of this bill, since they may have an interest to it. “They want to play outside the alliance. It is regrettable that the exclusion of one word brings to misunderstandings within the alliance”, said Mihai Ghimpu. Speaker Marian Lupu stated that his group, i.e. the PDM, considers that the word “usually” leaves room for interpretation, and should be left out. PCRM president Vladimir Voronin also said that the Communist group supports this bill, since it represents the will of the people. “It is not to say that the people who left are now creating problems for our Party. The question is who will these people represent upon forming a new group”, mentioned Vladimir Voronin. The 7 MPs who left the PCRM group at different periods in 2012, announced on Friday, October 12, that they will form a group of unaffiliated MPs.
