The snowfall and blizzard will continue throughout Friday. Towards the end of the day, especially in the central part of the country, the quantity of snow will exceed 20 liters per square meter. Weather forecasters issued an orange code advisory for snowfall for central Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. The yellow code warning for snow and difficult weather conditions for the northern and southern districts is still in force. There will be precipitation, mainly snow, in most parts of the country on January 25. In parts, there will be thick layers of snow. On January 26 snow will fall on a temporary basis, while on January 27 there will be a heavy snowfall in parts of the country. The eastern wind will intensify to 15-20 m/s. There will be snowdrifts and ice on roads. Snow is forecast to fall until Monday, January 28. Nighttime temperatures in the period will fall to minus 18 degrees Celsius in northern Moldova. Daytime temperatures will vary between minus 3 and minus 9 degrees Celsius. The authorities warn against traveling in the period if only in emergencies.
