Since the beginning of the year, the National Employment Agency has found jobs for more than 10,000 people, a record high for an 8-month period.
Of the total number, about a half are women, and over 1,500 people are aged between 55 and 63 (15.4%). Also, among those employed are 128 people with disabilities, and over a hundred are citizens who returned from abroad.
“It is the result of the effort put in by our territorial division colleagues and the fruit of the reform initiated in 2023. Recently, three cars were donated for the mobile teams from the Rezina, Șoldănești and Telenesti territorial divisions and we will continue to invest, in particular, in these territorial teams to be able reach as many men and women looking for a job as possible”, said Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu.
The Employment Agency recommends jobseekers to apply to the territorial divisions for full support. Services are free and available to both the unemployed and those who want a better job.
