Over 300 young teachers receive first installment of subsidy

Over 300 young professionals who graduated in 2011 have been hired in rural schools and received the first installment of the subsidy, which is 7000 lei for university graduates and 6000 lei for professional school graduates. The money was paid by the Ministry of Education from the state budget, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the ministry. Until November 1, 2011, 381 young specialists have been hired based on employment certificates. 341 of them have been assigned in rural areas and 40 in urban localities. Meanwhile, 344 young graduates from 2010 have received the second installment: 10,000 lei for graduates of higher education institutions and 8,000 for those of secondary professional education. Another 400 young graduates from 2009 will receive the third installment- 13,000 and 10,000 lei respectively- at the end of their third year of activity. The overall subsidy is 30,000 for young professionals who graduated higher education institutions and 24,000 lei for graduates of secondary professional education, who were assigned to work in rural educational institutions. The subsidy is paid in four installments.
