“Palanca” border crossing point to suspend work

The international road Odessa-Reni will be closed between September 10 and September 30 owing to repair works. Traffic will be diverted to the Odessa-Zatoka-Belgorod-Dnestrovsk highway, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Border Guard Service. The works to repair the bridge on the Odessa –Reni road will also cover the road section between the border crossing points “Palanca” (Moldova) and “Maiaki”(Ukraine). The Ukrainian border authorities asked diverting the people and vehicles going to Odessa to the state customs post “Udobnoe”, while the fright traffic – to the border crossing point “Tudora-Starokazacie”. As the work regime was modified, the Border Guard Service will increase the capacity of the checkpoints “Udobnoe” and “Tudora-Starokazacie” and the number of customs inspectors.
