Palanca-Maiaki road reopened

The Palanca-Maiaki road is now again accessible to traffic. The travel restrictions were imposed after a reinforced concrete block over the Nistru River broke on May 24, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communiqué issued by the Embassy of Ukraine in Moldova, the Odessa administration bans the movement of high-capacity trucks along the given road section. After June 15, the section of the Odesa-Reni highway near Palanca village will be accessible to all types of transport.
The Embassy says that owing to the concerted effort of specialists of the Odessa-based state-run company “Odseckii Oblavtodor”, the damaged bridge was repaired in a rather short period of time.
