The pandemic influenza A (H1N1) claimed one more life. A 50-year-old woman from Chisinau died after developing complications caused by pandemic flu. She was suffering from a chronic heart disease, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the National Scientific Practical Center for Preventive Medicine, 4,213 suspect cases of pandemic influenza have been reported in Moldova by December 3. The virus was detected in 2,027 cases. Fifty-six samples are being tested.
Thirteen persons have died from pandemic flu in Moldova so far.
According to unofficial reports, about 100 cases of influenza A (H1N1) have been confirmed in the Transnistrian region. The virus caused three deaths there.
