The sittings of the legislative body have been put off until November 18, when there will be held the presidential elections. Head of Parliament Marian Lupu said the meetings were postponed so as to prevent the MPs from focusing on other problems than the election of the President, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Nothing should hinder a good organization and a constructive dialogue aimed at resolving the main issue – the election of the head of state. It is logical and natural during these two weeks not to divide attention between subjects that can wait. We should concentrate our efforts on the major problem,” said Marian Lupu Thus, the legislature will not hold sittings on November 10, 11 and 17.
