The municipal enterprise “Linguistic Center” will transfer furniture to the value of 9,000 lei to the Chisinau Lyceum “Gheorghe Asachi”. Such a decision was adopted by the local councilors in the March 27 meeting, IPN reports.
The proposal was submitted by the Financial Management Division, which established that the number of persons who come to study the Romanian language at the Linguistic Center has decreased over the last few years and the given furniture is not used. The Division’s head Eugenia Ciumac said the municipal enterprise uses only two rooms in the teaching process, while the storage of the unused furniture involves additional costs.
The Communist councilors proposed that the municipal company should be declared non-profitable, while its manager should be dismissed.
