The Democratic Party (PDM) will top the list that will be written in the ballots for the November 30 parliamentary elections. The decision was taken as a result of a draw that involved the parties that submitted today the documents required for being registered as participants in the elections, IPN reports.
The PDM will be followed by the Christian Democratic People’s Party (2), the People’s Power Party (3), the Liberal Democratic Party (4), the Liberal Reformist Party (5), the Communist Reformist Party (6), the People’s Movement “Antimafie” (7), the National Liberal Party (8), the Party of Socialists (9), the electoral bloc “Moldova’s Choice – Customs Union” (10), the Party “Democracy at Home” (11), the People’s Party (12), the Communist Party (13), the Liberal Party (14), and the Renaissance Party (15).
The applications started to be filed today, October 3, at 9am, while the draw to decide the order in the ballots was held at 5pm. The order in which the parties took part in the draw was that in which the documents were submitted to the Central Election Commission (CEC) The pieces of paper with the number of order on them were put in envelopes before the journalists so as to ensure the transparency of the procedure.
Fifteen parties submitted the required documents to the CEC on the first day.
