Patent holders protested again in front of the Palace of the Republic, where the lawmakers come together for sittings. “A group of MPs submitted a legislative initiative that would solve our problems, but we understood that the Ministry of Economy opposes it and does not allow changing the situation of these persons,” said Eugen Roscovanu, the chairman of the Small Business Association, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
“The patentees want to work legally. They cannot afford to run a private company. If they hire a bookkeeper and purchase a cash register, all the earnings will go to keep the company,” stated
Eugen Roscovanu.
According to him, most of the European states understood that the business of private persons is more profitable than of companies. Asked why they don’t protest at the Ministry of Economy, Eugen Roscovanu said that the patentees want to make the lawmakers hear them so that they deal with their problems.
The sellers of flowers, meat and secondhand mobile phones ask being allowed to work on the basis of patent. The law obliges them to set up private companies. Almost a year ago, the protesters blocked traffic in Chisinau. There were several dozen people in front of the Palace of the Republic today.
