Pavel Filip: We make common cause with U.S.

Prime Minister Pavel Filip, together with members of the Cabinet, laid flowers at the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau in memory of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, IPN reports, with reference to the Government’s press service.

The Premier said this is a human gesture of compassion for the American people. “The Republic of Moldova, the Government and each person in this country all make common cause with the United States of America. From my viewpoint, the acts of terrorism are among the most serious crimes and they do not have a moral or another kind of justification. I declared not only once that Moldova will always be near those who suffered as a result of the acts of terrorism and, given the potential and capacities we have, we will contribute to preventing these,” stated Pavel Filip.

Today it is 16 years of the September 11 terrorist attacks that struck the U.S.
