The Communist parliamentary group submitted a bill that bans the rehabilitation of Nazism and heroization of Nazi criminals and their accomplices, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Such a law is necessary as the tendencies to rehabilitate the Nazi criminals and the crimes against humanity committed by them and to review the results of World War II have lately intensified in Moldova,” Communist MP Ina Supac said in a press briefing. The PCRM considers that Moldova should follow the example of the European countries that adopted anti-Nazism laws long ago. “The adoption of this law will enable to counteract the activity of radical political groups and stop the tendencies to rehabilitate the Nazis and the crimes committed by them and will show to Moldovan society and the whole world that the population and political class of Moldova are determined to follow the course of democracy, freedom, integrationist openness and respect for the true values of the European civilizations,” said Ina Supac. She also said that such laws exist in Austria, Germany, France, and Switzerland, while in Russia and Ukraine they are being drafted.
