PCRM will make everything possible to avoid early elections, Vladimir Voronin

The PCRM is against new early elections and is ready to take all the necessary measures in order to avoid them. The statement was made by the party’s president Vladimir Voronin in a meeting with the Polish Ambassador to Moldova Bogumil Luft, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the PCRM. The Communist leader reiterated that the PCRM will not vote in Marian Lupu as head of state as they consider that the President of Moldova should be an apolitical person. Ambassador Bogumil Luft voiced hope that the political crisis in Moldova will be overcome soon, stressing that it is the duty of the Moldova politicians to make everything possible for this to happen. He said Poland will continue to be a stable and reliable partner of Moldova and to support the country’s European integration aspirations.
