MP Igor Dodon, the Communist Party’s candidate for mayor of Chisinau municipality, promised that in three hours it will become clear what he meant when he said that the PCRM will use every available means to defend the votes of those who supported him, Info-Prim Neo reports. Igor Dodon made the statement for the journalists while passing by the State Residence, where the Council of the Alliance for European Integration holds a meeting. The lawmaker did not give other details, saying there will be given a news conference. In the runoff mayoral elections in Chisinau on June 19, Igor Dodon won 49.4% of the vote. The Liberal Party’s candidate Igor Dodon emerged victorious. In a press briefing the day after the elections, Igor Dodon said the Communist Party does not admit defeat and will use every available means to defend the votes cast for him.
